On behalf of the International Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (International ASET Inc.) and the University of Ottawa, the organizing committee would like to welcome you to the International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Remediation.
Environmental pollution is considered the most important threat to human being and other creature lives. Every day at different places, thousands of various types of pollutants and chemicals from different sources are exposed to the environment. These sources include industries, vehicles, and even human activities like cooking. Pollutants affect different environmental resources such as air, water, soil, and generate serious danger to the ecosystem. These encountered problems require immediate scientific attention to find appropriate and cost effective solutions.
The aim of ICEPR 2011 is to bring together the Canadian and international community working in the field of environmental sciences, engineering, and technology, and to foster an environment conducive to present advances in this field. This conference also provides a golden opportunity to develop new collaborations and gather world experts on the different topics including pollution detection, environmental remediation,
and pollution prevention. The ICEPR 2011 program includes 6 invited keynote talks, oral presentation sessions, and poster sessions.
Ottawa is an outstanding city blending English, French and international cultures. We hope you will have time to enjoy the ambience and hospitality of the Canadian Capital city.
We thank you for your participation and contribution to the International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Remediation. We wish you a very successful and enjoyable congress.
