On behalf of the International Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (International ASET Inc.) and Ryerson University, the organizing committee would like to welcome you to the 2nd International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics (ICMEM’13). ICMEM'13 is a comprehensive conference covering all various topics of Mechanical Engineering (Fluid and Solid Mechanics), Robotics, Aerospace, and Mechatronics. The aim of ICMEM'13 is to gather scholars from all over the world to present advances in the aforementioned fields and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This conference will also provide a golden opportunity to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics. We believe inclusive and wide-ranging conferences such as ICMEM'13 can have significant impacts by bringing together experts from the different and often separated fields of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, creating unique opportunities for collaborations and shaping new ideas for experts and researchers. In the second meeting of this conference, four keynote speakers will share their expertise in the various aspects of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics with the aim of exposing participants to a wide spectrum of applications, and to foster crosspollination of ideas and develop new research interests. In addition, 76 papers will be presented covering many aspects of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics. Toronto is an outstandingly beautiful city which blends English and International cultures.
